# Trimtab Labs

> Trimtab Labs is Lorin Symington. It helps people build and own their own AI second brain. A second brain helps the AI help you: think of it as an API to your life, all in plain markdown files you own, so your agent knows who you are and where everything is, and you don't have to keep explaining yourself. The foundation, the Second Brain Seed, is free and open source. Paid sessions (1v1, 1v2 or 1v3) set a second brain up together.

Same models as everyone else. But vastly better performance and convenience due to automatic context management. Full control over your intelligence and data. No commercial conflicts of interest. No export button needed.
